For the arboreal kipsang and the semi-aquatic lissa, the prospect of covering large stretches of land is challenging. While a lot of inland travel is accomplished with boats via river networks, lets take a look at strictly terrestrial solutions.

Sledges and carts

The basic idea of flat platform plus wheels isn't anything too out there. A lot can be achieved with some pulling, some pushing, and a platform that does all the lifting for you.

Sledges are particularly useful on sandy/silty beaches or across ice, and are used majorly by coastal communities.

Animals

The peoples of Arra are still working out animal domestication. Some clans make use of tame go-urra for transporting goods and pulling sledges/carts, or in the case of kipsang, as mounts. Coastal peoples typically use ogu for similar purposes in the water, but ogu are sluggish on land compared to their aquatic agility and would make for terrible terrestrial pack-animals. In fact, on many occasions lissa themselves will pull and push vehicles as well as provide kipsang allies somewhere to perch on long journeys. There have been attempts to use (tamed) rocs for kipsang transportation, but it's unreliable.
