Little update

hi, I'm doing the format a little differently and writing a blog post *as* I update the site.. let's see how this goes.
first of allll I want to draw attention to this animation that Kell made, it's a fan-art piece of Epic The Musical but with confluence-ified characters. yay! It is currently hosted on youtube. hopefully that link doesn't break or we find a better way to host it here. haha.
now that I think about it there isn't a section for non-canon arts of confluence is there? I'll make that :p

anyway yeah we've been really inspired to think about Confluence lately. it's a combination of watching history/archaeology stuff, dance competitions, and listening to various soundtracks. yayy. actually while I work on this one of those songs has just come on. perfect. it's 'Opetaia Foa'i - We Know The Way' from the soundtrack of Moana (2026). it makes us laugh to hear Lin-Manuel Miranda trying his best to pull a Phil Collins. but damn if this film doesn't have a good soundtrack to picture Confluence stuff to.
stuff we want to get to: something about boats sailing up and downriver, artificial resevoirs and livestock pools, coastal rock-face carvings (inspired by the scattered group of nine bronze age stone carvings in Hong Kong such as the Cheung Chau, Lung Ha Wan, and Tung Lung Island carvings) ((seriously those are pretty cool)), more in-universe mythology stories and such, a clan based around tide pools, a lissa character who fishes in said pools, various vehicles and sledges... so on. lots of stuff :]
there's also some work to do on the story Skin Deep set in Confluence, but that's more long term. I should set up a gallery for that story, shouldn't we? and profiles on those characters.. oh boy
maybe I need another cup of tea... -w-;;
FEATURE OF THE DAY: working on terrestrial transportation!. its not done yet but im linking it early as a present. shh don't tell anyone :>
